Body Interact, developed and produced by Take The Wind from Portugal, is an interactive training system for situated case-based teaching, that aims to train students’ skills in clinical reasoning. Through a cloud-based management system, it collects educational resources all over the world, and allows them to be shared. Since its introduction into China by Master-Meditech, it has provided services in clinical reasoning training in over 50 institutions in 18 provinces.
To promote the global exchange of experiences in the simulation training of clinical reasoning, to further enhancing the international collaboration in medical simulation, and to help establish a communication platform for users of the Body Interact virtual patient simulation system, we will, together with Take The Wind, host the first BI End User Meeting in China in Nanning, Guangxi, on July 23rd, 2021.
This conference aims to provide health professions educators with best practices experiences, and help institutions further integrate simulation training into their undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. The conference consists of several lectures and workshops, and welcomes speakers from George Brown College, David Tvildiani Medical University, Portuguese Red Cross School of Health, Sun Yat-Sen University, and Fudan University to share their experiences in utilizing Body Interact in the teaching, curriculum development, and educational research surrounding clinical reasoning. We hereby sincerely welcome medical and nursing educators, as well as management personnel of residency programs, to investigate the future of simulation research and clinical reasoning training with us!
